Horsens City Camping is located right on the fjord, near the town of Horsens, on the east coast of Midden-Jutland. You not only have a quiet lake with an unspoiled beach available, but there is also a lot of greenery and a forest bordering the campground. Horsens City Camping is the first campsite in Jutland awarded with the new “Green Campsite” eco-label.
Your campsiteEverything is well maintained and spacious with grass, hedges and trees. There are very quiet sites, places for families with children and sites with a view of the fjord. The campground has no paths, you drive over the grass. The rental accommodations - trekkers huts and bungalows - look well maintained.Who will you meet?A campground for all ages, for people who want to be in the forest, or less protected with a lake view. you'll also meet campers passing through. Children will have fun in the large playground with climbing equipment and the indoor playground and on the bouncy cushions and the go-carts.Have fun in the waterThe broad but not very long beach with nearly white sand is about 50 metres away. You can swim in the fjord from the dock, also suitable for smaller children. You can also canoe, windsurf and water ski. Great for kids: catching crabs from the dock.Eating and drinkingGo to the shops in Stensballe to do your shopping. The campground offers ice cream, refreshing drinks and fresh bread. Instead of cooking by your tent or in your caravan, you can also use a communal kitchen. The sanitation is exceptional: spacious and clean. Also family sanitation facilities.
