Old Putten is an estate campground with lovely spacious campsites. The site is located on the estate of the same name. From the camping, you can take a short walk to Elburg, located on Lake Veluwe and Lake Dronten. A visit to this old fortified town with its numerous monuments and lovely cafés and restaurants is really worth the effort. You can also take wonderful walks and cycling excursions in the area.
you'll notice right away: the campground is in a lovely location in the midst of a plethora of trees and greenery. you'll immediately experience the lovely atmosphere.Spacious sites and clean sanitationAll campsites are very spacious and are highly maintained. The fields are set apart with hedges and bushes, and you are surrounded by trees. There is plenty of shade and privacy. The grass is mowed regularly. There are also accommodations to be hired on the campground. There are two spacious trekker huts and a comfort hut, each with four beds. Great activitiesThe campground is visited by parents with children and seniors. There is no swimming pool. In the high season there are all kinds of daily activities organised. You can make pottery, ride ponies, decorate pots with mosaic stones and much more. There are also tours of the estate.Veggies from the farmerThere is no shop on the campground, but you can buy fresh vegetables from the farmer right behind the campground. Attention strawberry lovers!: During strawberry season there are plenty of these kings of summer! Cheese can also be purchased in the area from a cheese dairy.
