City campsite Fuentes Blancas is ideally located for a visit to Burgos, a city steeped in history, evidenced today by a baroque cathedral and impressive archaeological museum. From the campsite you can cycle to the city centre along the beautiful Arlazón river. There is also a beach in the vicinity.
Shaded by deciduous treesThe campsite is mainly frequented by camping guests wanting to visit Burgos or for overnight accommodation. You can choose your own pitch on the woody, neat-looking grounds, which are level and offer ample shade. This is as a result of the many deciduous trees. The pitches are located on turf in rows along paved roads. Rental bungalows are available, if you do not have a tent, caravan or motorhome.Shallow swimming poolThe rectangular (shallow) swimming pool in full sun is located in a corner of the campsite. The area around the swimming section is tiled. There are no loungers or sun umbrellas, but you can bring your own camping chair. There is a playground for children. Entertainment is offered in high season.Reasonably priced dishesThe campsite has a bar-restaurant and a small shop. Each day, the restaurant offers one or two local dishes of good quality, which taste even better because they are reasonable in price. It can get pretty busy over weekends. Adjacent to the campsite is a large public barbecue area. The campsite shop stocks a reasonable selection. There is also a bread service.Sanitary facilitiesThe sanitary facilities are fine and are continuously kept spick and span. There are five ablution blocks spread over the camping grounds with facilities for babies.
