The well organised and well maintained campsite William is located directly on Lake Constance. An ideal destination for water sports enthusiasts, anglers and camping guests with their own boat. Cyclist can clock up a few km on the famous Lake Constance Cycle Route, which runs around the lake. And be sure to have a bite to eat in the excellent campsite restaurant.
Camping on the lakeCampsite William is a large, rather busy campsite. Some of the camping pitches are located on the water's edge. Different rates apply for these pitches. A railway line runs along the other site of the camping grounds. On a few camping pitches on that side you may experience a bit of noise from this. There are a large number of permanent pitches for longer-staying, predominantly German guests. There is no rental accommodation here.Water sports and relaxationThis campsite is extremely suitable for water sports enthusiasts and keen anglers. This is borne out by the amenities. For instance, there is a generous boat storage facility and a boat launching ramp for guests with their own boat. You can also hire canoes, kayaks and motor boats. The Untersee lake is suitable for windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing and snorkelling. You can also go for a swim in the lake, of course. The bottom slopes down gently, making it ideal for the little ones to paddle. Sunbathing lawns and beach showers are also available. Excellent restaurant and sanitary facilitiesThe camping restaurant is highly recommended. The portions are generous and you have a splendid view of the lake. There is also a small campsite shop. The little ones can enjoy themselves in the playground. There are two sanitary buildings with modern, good and clean sanitary facilities. You need coins to shower; these are available from the reception.
