Camping Forrás lies on the outskirts of the village of Magyarhertelend. You are here at the foot of the low Mecsek mountain range, a landscape with wooded hills and valleys. This tranquil and natural region is ideal for exploring by bicycle or for walking. With the Orfü lakes (6 km) and culture city Pécs (24 km) in close vicinity, a variety of day trips are possible.
Camping in a green oasisWhen you arrive on the campsite, you will immediately notice the large number of trees and the lush grass. This is an oasis of peace. The reception will gladly assist you with your questions and a bread and grocery service. The pitches on Camping Forrás measure approximately 100 m2. There is little demarcation, but ample privacy for everyone. There are 45 pitches in total as well as one rental accommodation unit: a caravan for four persons. Paving of several pitches and construction of an infill area for motorhomes is planned for 2019.Water fun around the cornerAs a campsite guest, you will be entitled to a 20% discount at the adjacent swimming complex. This small swimming paradise consists of a thermal bath, a few swimming pools, bubble baths, toddler pools, a slide and hydro massage. It is possible to swim indoors as well as outdoors. The outdoor portion is beautifully landscaped with trees and exotic plants. Bites and drinksIn the campsite bar (with terrace) you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, but also ice cream sundaes and small refreshments. With two pétanque courts, a small playground and adjacent soccer field, young and old can show off their sports skills. In high season the owners organise great tasting sessions, workshops and excursions on a regular basis.
