Happy Village & Camping is a terraced campsite in the Lazio region, close to the ring road of Rome (northern side). It is situated on a beautiful and naturally landscaped terrain, with many flowering shrubs. This small-scale campsite with a very relaxed atmosphere features a bar, a (new and fine) restaurant and a swimming pool. The campsite shuttle service takes you for free to metro station Prima Porta, from where you can be in the heart of Rome in just 20 minutes.
Sloping terrainThe terrain, dotted with pine trees, is slightly undulating and has marked pitches with varying degrees of shade. The pitches are well-maintained and separated by greenery. They tend to be on the small side. The bungalows and campers which are available for rent are surprising: they are simple but spacious and well-maintained.Food, drink and entertainmentThe campsite shop has a limited range of supplies. There is also a supermarket 4 km further down the road. The restaurant offers a typical Italian menu, delicious and full of flavour. In the evenings it can get a little noisy due to the convivial atmosphere. There is also a bar and a pizzeria.The beautifully landscaped swimming pool (200 m2) with a fun round paddling pool, is situated higher up on the terrain. Surrounding the pool is a tiled patio with loungers and sunshades. The attractively situated restaurant with patio has views of the swimming pool. Here, you will dine under the palm trees and there are flowers everywhere. This colourful abundance of flowers is a unique feature of this campsite.
