Camping et gîtes des Bains is a quiet campsite on the edge of the Morvan Regional Natural Park, near the ancient health resort of Saint-Honoré-les-Bains. With its hilly landscape, the immediate vicinity of the campsite is ideal for motorcyclists and cyclists. This part of Burgundy is not yet subject to mass tourism: a fine place for campers who want to find peace and quiet.
Shady pitches, cosy gites The pitches are situated on a spacious, park-like terrain adorned with green lawns and tall trees. The pitches, neatly and tidily laid out, are separated from each other by hedges and have shade from the trees. The campsite is never completely full, so you can choose your own pitch. In addition to around 130 pitches, the campsite has around thirty rental accommodations, including a number of cottages. These stone 'gîtes' are cosily situated around a small square.Line dancing and treasure hunt The entertainment is in line with the character of the campsite: small-scale, casual and relaxed. In high season some activities are organized weekly. You can take part in a petanque tournament, an afternoon of line dancing or a karaoke evening. The children can also have fun every week during the 'olympic camping games'. And then there's always the swimming pool, where you can whiz down the slide in the warm sun. Homemade meals In the campsite restaurant you can order snacks and takeaway meals, but also try one of the dishes prepared by the owner. Meals on the theme evenings (with karaoke for dessert) and the pizza evenings are particularly popular.
