Not far from the North Sea beach, in the town of Vejers Strand, lies the Vejers Family Camping. Not only is the beach attractive here, but so are the dunes with extensive pine forests, which were planted to prevent sand-drifts. However, most guests come here for a relaxing holiday on the endless and wide sandy beaches, which start only a few hundred metres away. Are you bringing your children on a camping holiday? If so, a visit to Legoland (BIllund) is an absolute must. It takes a hour by car to get there.
Well-defined pitchesIn the modern campsite reception you will be welcomed by one of the owners, who will let you choose your own spot. The campsite is mainly geared towards caravans and motorhomes, but the tent camper will be given a similar pitch as the motorhome guest. The pitches are well defined, but offer little privacy as there are hardly any trees or shrubs on the campsite. Trekker hutsThe rental accommodation consists of sixteen trekker huts/holiday bungalows. Most are equipped with a shower and toilet and are suitable for two to six persons.Water fun in the pool or the seaVejers Familie Camping has an attractive swimming pool, even though the campsite is not far from the sea. The pool is heated and measures almost 200 m2. Next to it is a toddler pool of 40 m2. Here the little ones can play safely. As far as children are concerned: there is an entertainment team twice a week to keep them entertained with games and other activities. In addition, camping guests have free access to Badeland Blåvandshuk, a water paradise and wellness centre.
