Quinta do Retiro

Located in a forest The beautiful country estate ('quinta' means 'estate' or 'wine estate') is situated at an altitude of 325 meters on the outskirts of the village of Covas. An extremely well-kept terrain where many fruit trees grow. The green pitches are divided over a low terrain and a higher part that looks a bit rougher and offers more sun. For larger caravans a spot at the top is worth considering because of its accessibility.The nice thing is that the picturesque pitches are not demarcated and that everyone still enjoys peace and privacy. The many trees and shrubs provide a relaxed atmosphere. There is also a small stream running across the campsite.Ecological swimming pool At the lowest point of the campsite, an ecological swimming pool has been set up between the greenery. Beautiful flowers, shrubs and stones surround the pool, which is continuously purified. The clean water comes directly from its own source. Pure nature! Those looking for even more relaxation after a few laps can use the sauna.Bread from the bakerFor a supermarket or a nice restaurant are the most possibilities in Oliveira do Hospital. But for fresh bread you don't have to leave the campsite in the morning. Every day the local baker delivers bread on the 'quinta'. On the local market you can do your shopping tasty, cheap and fresh.
