The quiet natural campsite Agrituristico Carso is located in a forest close to the sea in a beautiful rocky coastal region. The coastal town of Triëst is only 20 km away. The campsite forms part of an organic farm. This operation comprises meadows, woods and biological market-gardening fields. The campsite is especially popular amongst guests from the Netherlands.
Organic farm with campsiteThis well maintained terraced campsite (measuring 1 ha) is managed by two sisters and their mother and is located in a forest in a natural design. The twenty camping pitches on this campsite are not demarcated. You are allocated a spacious pitch (60-80 m2) with ample privacy. The campsite is located in a forest with oak and berry trees. These provide shade on some of the pitches. Swimming and walkingIn the outdoor pool (110 m2), playing children and adults who like to swim a few lengths are separated from each other by a cork rope. Great arrangement. On the campsite you will also find some play equipment and a recreation area. You can ask the reception about the marked walking routes in the surroundings. For the active holiday maker, guided hiking trips are organised in October.Eco camping with vegetable gardensAgrituristico Carso is recognised as an eco campsite. Campsite guests are allowed to pick their own vegetables, herbs and fruit from the organic vegetable gardens around the campsite. These products are also on sale in the bio shop, where regionally produced wine and honey are also obtainable. The vegetables are grown in an organic manner and water is sparingly used as a result of drip irrigation. Guests are allowed to keep perishable foodstuffs in the fridge or freezer. In addition, there is a communal barbecue area.
