Campsite La Mer is located in Cap d’Agde, the coastal area of the southern French city of Agde. The campsite is situated almost right on the Mediterranean coast, which makes it a perfect home base for many days at the beach. Furthermore, the campsite is an ideal starting point for city trips. From Cap d’Agde, you can get to beautiful French cities such as Carcassonne, Narbonne and Montpellier in no time. If you need to get some grocery shopping, then go on the bike! The local shops are very easy to reach.
Two partsYou will be warmly welcomed to the campsite grounds by Geraldine and Renée Pouget. The many (palm) trees will also heartily receive you. The campsite can roughly be divided into two parts. The pitches are mainly on the right side of the campsite and the left side is reserved for the accommodation.With the whole family Campsite La Mer is a real family campsite. There is plenty of entertainment, especially in the summer. Various games and sports tournaments are organised here. The bouncy castle also provides plenty of fun for the little ones. And of course, you can take a trip to the beach to build sandcastles every day.BéziersAt 25 kilometres from the campsite is where you will find Béziers, one of France’s oldest towns. The town is an amazing sight: The River Orb flows through it, the cathedral stands out above everything and there are little old houses with orange roofs. The best way to drive into Béziers is from a south-westerly direction. You then go over the old bridge and you are almost directly at the cathedral, a must see.
