In an olive grove on the border between the Drôme and the Vaucluse, not far from the mighty Mont Ventoux, you’ll find Camping Domaine La Gautière. This small, quiet 3-star campsite has spacious touring pitches between olive trees on a sloping terrain. Surrounded by vineyards extending as far as the hills. The campsite has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and a petting zoo with an animal pasture.
Natural camping siteThe natural grounds of this small campsite is situated in an olive grove. Except for the olive trees, there is no delimitation between the spacious pitches. There are twenty touring pitches and twelve permanent pitches on the campsite. They are situated on sloping terrain, so you have some extra work to level your caravan or camper. If necessary, you can get logs and stones from the owner.Refreshing outdoor poolNext to the main building, close to the entrance of the campsite, there is a simple outdoor swimming pool. It is open from mid-May to the end of September, but it is not heated. The swimming pool is beautifully landscaped, with a separate paddling pool and all around a narrow, tiled sun deck.Petting animalsThe campsite has a small petting zoo and an animal paddock with all kinds of cuddly animals. There are goats, chickens, horses, donkeys, a sheep and an alpaca. Children are allowed to help take care of the animals and take rides.
