Camping La Marjorie is located in the heart of the Jura, on the edge of the spa town of Lons-le-Saunier. You'll camp here at the foot of the Jura's high mountains, on a wooded campsite. Visit the centre of Lons-le-Saunier or explore the beautiful Jura with its cirque valleys and waterfalls.
The campsite is located at the foot of the Jura high mountains. you'll find the campsite on a sloping road north of the town, right on the edge of the built-up area.Wooded campsiteThere is room for two hundred touring pitches on the campsite. These are laid out with a maximum of six together on beautiful lawns, separated by hedges. The lawns are well-maintained and offer plenty of privacy.If you want to be assured of complete peace and quiet, you can ask for a camping pitch a little further from the road. Apart from the touring pitches you have the possibility to camp in one of the chalets or lodge tents.Swimming poolSince 2019 the campsite has its own swimming pool. Extensive swimming is possible in the public swimming pool, 300 meters from the campsite. If you stay longer than five days, the entrance is free. On the campsite you will find a restaurant and a shop. The somewhat outdated sanitary facilities are cleaned three to four times a day.TownsThere are many beautiful towns in the Jura. For example, you can be in Baume-les-Messieurs within a twenty-minute drive. In the valley you can visit waterfalls and caves. Another beautiful place is Château-Chalon. This village is situated on top of a mountain, in the middle of the vineyards.
