Aktiv-Camp-Purgstall is a small-scale campsite in Lower Austria, at the foot of the Alps. You can camp here on a comfort pitch on the natural camping site or in rental accommodation. Fun for the children: the cuddly bunnies roaming freely around the campsite.
Comfort pitches on a natural siteAround fifty comfort pitches are located on the beautifully maintained camping site of Aktiv-Camp-Purgstall. Most of the touring pitches are marked by a tree, which at the same time provides shade. It gives the campsite a green and natural character, which is not disturbed by the rental accommodations: a spacious chalet, wooden bungalows and the appartment in the Gästehaus.Natural swimming pondThe campsite does not have a swimming pool, but it does have a swimming pond. In this small natural pond at the back of the campsite you can always cool off. Swimming laps is difficult, but there is plenty of space for children to have fun in the water.Cuddly animalsThe chicken coop and rabbit hutch on the campsite are open during the day. The cuddly creatures can roam freely over the grassy areas of the campsite. So don't be surprised if you see a fluffy rabbit sniffing around or a perky parading rooster parading in front of your tent.Homemade ice cream and your favourite dishWhether you fancy a pastry for breakfast or a tasty pizza or bratwurst for lunch, you can always enjoy a treat on the covered outdoor café. You can also have dinner. If you let them know in advance that you would like to join for dinner, the cook will be happy to prepare your favourite dish. Be sure to try a scoop of homemade ice cream for dessert.
