The many natural features and unique attractions make the Ardèche one of the most popular camping destinations in France. The family campsite La Plage Fleurie is located in the south of this area – directly on the wide and calm part of the river. The camping site also features a water park with several (heated) pools, a paddling pool, and water slides.
View of the waterThe La Plage Fleurie camping site is a fairly large campsite with a good mix of pitches and rental accommodations. The grounds are well maintained. There is sufficient space between the chalets and mobile homes. The pitches are also quite pristine. They are mostly located near the river and range from 100–120 m². You often have the choice between a spot in the sun or one in the shade. The sanitary facilities will be partially or completely renewed in 2021.Activities galoreThe large family camp ground also has many facilities. There is a campsite shop, where you will find fresh bread, souvenirs, and a wide range of groceries. There is also a bar-restaurant. You can opt for either takeaway, chips, or pizza or a sit-down meal with all kinds of local dishes. The Ardèche is particularly well known for its sausages, cheese, and chestnuts. Of course, you won’t want to do without a nice glass of wine.There is no need to worry about holiday fatigue – because there is always more than enough to do at the camping site. There are outdoor fitness machines, sports tournaments, and a nice kid’s club for the younger campers.
