Ballum Campsite is a quiet, sheltered natural campsite. The campsite is located in the heart of the Vadehavet (Wadden Sea) National Park in very rural surroundings. From here it is not far to the Wadden Sea island of Rømø (with the widest sandy beach in Europe) and the historical towns of Ribe and Tønder . The campsite forms an ideal base for exploring the thinly populated region.
Spacious campsiteThe campsite consists of clearly separated fields each offering space for several tents and caravans. A new circular-shaped terrain has been laid out for motorhomes. The sizes of the pitches vary from 100 to as much as 240 m2.Relaxing in a rustic chaletBallum Campsite has four chalets which can be rented throughout the year. These rustic wooden chalets are in a quiet location and offer ample privacy. The chalets can be booked per night or per week.  You can make use of all the campsite facilities. The chalets are suitable for three (type B) or four/five people (type A). Rental tents and caravans are also available.Dogs are welcomeThe campsite owners are real dog lovers. That is why your four-legged friends are welcome at Ballum Campsite. The campsite has a fenced-off leash field where you can play with your dog, It is also easy to walk the dog outside of the campsite. On the camping grounds, the dog must be leashed; this is not necessary near your camping equipment. Entertainment for childrenFor the children there is a recently renovated playground which includes playground equipment and a bouncy castle. There is also a lovely area where you can read or watch TV. As of recently, you now also have the possibility to play a game of table football or darts.
