Campsite San Sebastiano is located in the village of Laigueglia on the Italian Riviera (Ligurian region). It is a so-called mountain campsite by the sea, a steeply terraced campsite in an olive grove. This means that this campsite is only suitable for campers with a tent and not for caravans or motorhomes. The pitches, situated on ridges on the mountainside, are not very large. San Sebastiano is a basic campsite with few amenities. Its beautiful location by the sea, however, more than makes up for this.
Most beautiful village in Italy Besides pitches for tents, there are also a total of five bungalows available for rent, suitable for two to six people. The campsite facilities are very limited. There is a bar-restaurant with a patio with views of the sea, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner. And that's about it. The campsite is, however, located in the beautiful village of Laigueglia (listed as one of the 'most beautiful villages in Italy'), just a stone's throw away from the beach.Sanitary facilitiesThe sanitary facilities can only be described as being very good.In the areaLaigueglia is approximately five kilometres away from the famous seaside resort of Alassio, which is certainly worth a visit. A further five kilometres along, you will find the town of Albenga with a beautiful medieval centre. If you head roughly 55 km towards the French border, you will come across cosmopolitan San Remo, known for its annual song festival and the classic Milan-San Remo cycling race.
