Camping La Cascade/Cevennes is located in a vast unspoilt nature reserve in the Cevennes. Far from highways and urban bustle this is a true Paradise for nature lovers. The small scale and environmentally friendly approach of this campsite are a perfect fit. The only sounds you'll hear are from the small river near the campsite and the whistling of various birds. In the meantime you can enjoy a great view of the surrounding mountains.
A friendly welcomeThe hospitable owners of this campsite, Mr. and Mrs. Gache, welcome new guests in the small main building. This also serves as reception and restaurant(s). You will soon notice that respect and love for nature are of paramount importance here. The small-scale campsite is well maintained and is always spotless.Spacious pitches and wooden chaletsThe pitches are very spacious and laid out in a natural way. There is not much demarcation, but that enhances the free feeling of camping in nature. Some beautiful wooden chalets have been placed that fit in well with the camping image. And wherever you are on the campsite, you will certainly have a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains!FacilitiesAt campsite La Cascade/Cevennes you'll find a bar, a snack bar with an attractive terrace and a modest restaurant. In the shop you'll find some basic groceries. Meyrueis, a four kilometre drive away, is ideal for more extensive shopping. On Wednesdays there is a weekly market here, very nice for lovers of fresh produce.
