Camping Sites & Paysages Le Petit Liou is situated on the edge of the Ecrins National Park. You camp here on level terrain with a view of the snow-capped mountains of the Hautes-Alpes. Peace and space are the key words for this campsite, emphasised by the calming surroundings and the spacious camping pitches. The reservoir of Serre-Ponçon is one kilometre away. It is a great place for swimming and sailing. There is also a small island in the lake with a chapel. In winter, during low tide, you can walk to the island.
Camping in natureThe pitches are located on large, level lawns between the mountains. You have a choice of camping on open fields or more between trees. Do you prefer a bit more luxury, whilst retaining that camping feel? If so, you have many rental accommodation options. The eco-lodges and eco-tents are especially popular.Environmentally friendly holidayThe campsite owners are eco-conscious. Camping guests can also do their part towards making their holiday environmentally friendly. Waste is separated, for instance, and water is used in moderation. This is appreciated by the guests of Le Petit Liou. Entertainment for the whole familyThere is an entertainment programme for children in the summer months with evening dance parties and arts and crafts afternoons in the recreation area. Adults won't be left out, though: there are plenty of more mature activities, from concerts to pétanque tournaments. There is a swimming pool on the campsite for some water fun. It is not very large, but does the trick when you want to cool off. Homemade regional dishesThe restaurant has a rather limited menu. However, it boasts several regional dishes. The homemade pizzas and artisan ice creams are very popular with both young and old.
