RCN Holiday Park Het Grote Bos is situated in the triangle formed by Doorn, Driebergen and Maarn in the middle of woodland. The area around the campsite is very diverse. On one side is a river landscape with historical towns and old castles and on the other side is hilly woodland (De Utrechtse Heuvelrug).
Over winding pathways to your pitchThe large campsite is located in the middle of woodland. You reach your pitch via winding pathways. The camping pitches are at least 100 m2 in size and you can opt for a shaded pitch. There are special pitches for cycling campers and comfort pitches with water supply and drainage.On the campsite, adjacent to the camping pitches, there are also safari tents, Finnish bungalows and holiday cottages. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and on several spots on the campsite you will find Thetford cleaning machines: a type of dishwasher for your chemical toilet.Bowling, crossing and survival runningThe campsite has a large number of facilities for young and old. There is a natural pond, fossil field and several playgrounds. For sports enthusiasts there is a soccer and a basket ball field, a tennis court and jeu-de-boule pitch, a table tennis table, mini golf court, bowling alley, bicycle cross track for children and skelter and bicycle rental.From April to October and during school holidays there is a recreation team. The heated outdoor pool with slide in located in the middle of the campsite and is surrounded by a lawn. Also fun: In the Grote Bos you can take part in a great deal of survival fun. By climbing, hanging and swaying you can follow an exciting obstacle course, which will lead you through the woods and over water.
